'We were girls' comprises two photographs shot on colour film. This project explores how memory is held within photographs, where the loss of friendship and emotional connection is contrasted by the enduring physical presence of the image. It reflects a yearning for youth through a warm haze of nostalgia—moments that feel distant yet remain vividly suspended in time.
