Marked Habits (2022)

'Marked Habits' is a portrait which reflects Isobel’s personal struggle with Dermatillomania. The work evolved from a smooth, traditional portrait, into a textured piece incorporating grit, sand and plaster mixed with paint. The final texture aims to reflect the painful and emotional turmoil associated with the condition.
